**Morning Rant**
Okay this has actually been a week from hell... Well it started out that way. My son was being bullied and physically assaulted in school to the point he was begging me not to send him. I had never felt more powerless in my life. My son had already reported these boys to three different teachers and to the Asst. Principal, but nothing was sticking, the kids DID NOT care about the punishment that they would get if they got caught fighting or bullying. (HAD TO TAKE A BREATHER) But I did my research, I contacted the local police station. I marched into the school and asked politely to speak to the principal, stated my reason... The secretary told me he wasn't in. ( I had parked right beside his car.) When I stated this, OOPS, she meant that he wasn't available. I told her that my son is being physically assaulted and bullied and if they wouldn't help me, I would get it somewhere else. I was in the Principal's office within minutes. Things were handled, rather quickly after that. I had pictures of bruises from all over my sons body. A local police detective called the school and told them if it wasn't handled internally, that I had agreed to press charges and it would be handled by other authorities. Sometimes I think people honestly need a kick in the pants to make them do what they need to do. Honestly I refuse to send my son to a school that he doesn't feel safe attended. -Side note: I am not one of those parents that idolize their child and think that they are perfect. My son does know how to defend himself due to him taking Jujitsu. But three kids attaching him at once from behind and then throwing him to the ground and kicking him in the stomach and back, how do you defend yourself against that? And why were these kid not punished when it was called out into the open? I am still confused, And seriously thinking of transferring my son to a new school. xxx
